This 90-minute recorded webinar was developed for the Oregon Public Health Division to provide an introduction to YPAR for their grantees.
YPAR is a promising evidence-based program for youth serving organizations (schools, government, local public health departments, or community-based organizations) to authentically engage youth in policies and programs that impact their lives. YPAR is based on years of research in participatory action research models and has been shown to create positive changes in youth development, increasing empowerment, school attachment, healthy behaviors, critical thinking, and collective efficacy.
