the Youth Action Hub (YAH) has been working to better understand the systems impacting unstble housing conditions among youth and young adults for a few years, generating impressive progress along the way. Recently, their efforts to map out these systems in a living, dynamic model have caught broad public attention. Using a process known as system dynamics modeling, ICR researcher Heather Mosher and collaborator/modeling expert Gary Hirsch developed this model to identify how these robust systems interact and feed one another, as well as how to disrupt these systems effectively with minimal unintended consequences.
