Drs. Jean and Stephen Schensul (ICR and UCONN-UCHC) were among six professors invited to teach in a special experimental higher education program at Fudan University, Shanghai, China, summer 2015. Their interactive 12 session course on global health was offered to a class of 22 undergraduate students, and 2 high school students. Student groups analyzed selected health problems of country of choice using international health data bases/sources to understand a designated health problem, and devised multilevel interventions based on planning guides in Book 7 of the Ethographer’s Toolkit to tackle the problem. Wang Ying, program coordinator, Fudan University will present the course as a model to other international universities planning interactive higher education instructional pedagogy.
